Harrison High School has swapped a four-letter acronym for a three-letter acronym. The FAVC is history - dead and buried. The SOC is where Harrison’s athletic teams will compete beginning in August.

FAVC stood for the Fort Ancient Valley Conference, which chipped away for the past few years before a pair of bold moves sealed its fate last fall. SOC stands for the Southwest Ohio Conference, and consists of eight survivors from the FAVC who will, for the most part, go forward together.
